ICE CLIMBING
Ice climbing is an art. The feeling of an axe entering in the blue ice with the perfect swing is the best sensation you can experience.
Climbing up these ephemeral ice falls is an experience you have to do once in a lifetime!
PROGRAM
We will meet for a coffee at 8. Equipment check and after a briefing about safety and plannings for the day, we’ll move to the parking where we will start the approach to the ice fall.
We will start climbing pitch after pitch to finally reach the exit of the icefall. We will rappel down or simply walk to come back to the valley to cheer!
Small debriefing on what we have learnt.
What the price includes: personal equipment if needed (harness, helmet), the use of ropes, quickdraws, gri-gris or other belay devices.
What the price doesn’t include: the rental of mountaineering boots, performance crampons, ice axes, meals and mountains hut if needed for you and for the guide.
